First race of the cross country season

I didnt do a really big warm up because i Knew i would get tired during the race because of it.

I think i did ok for it being my first race it was really tiring but going along the parade route was really fun and all the people cheering helped me push.

At the second aid station i got soaked with water which felt really nice.

At the part of the race some little kid beat which really made me sad (also i was the last from our cross country team to finish)

I tripped three time during the race which was not fun there was either too many potholes or i am really clumsy.

I finished before 68 people.

Good news i saw a dog today.

This was a good day today for you. It is like opening your first novel to read. If you didn't start at the first and read every chapter to the end the book would most likely not make any sense. You started the first chapter today of your running career, which will not end with high school, but will continue throughout your life. Each chapter will make sense as you progress to the next. Keep working hard at workouts, giving the best you have on that day. You will look back at this race with pride and remember it always.
